Joshua Gardner

Joshua’s professional experience in China began six years ago when he pursued a successful career in global trade logistics as regional manager of an American firm in Beijing, in which he developed substantial import traffic with Nokia, ABB, Lucent, Fisher Controls, and Siemens.

A fluent Mandarin Chinese speaker and Phi Beta Kappa, summa cum laude graduate of Boston University, he has since managed Pacific Rim sourcing, private label manufacturing, and product development firms specializing in a broad range of retail categories including glassware, candles, decorative accessories, lighting, general house wares, cleaning textiles, and plush toys. Outstanding OEM product lines to his credit include those he developed for Target, QVC, Linen's N Things, Shaws, Ames, BJ's, LTD Commodities, Solutions and Brookstone among many others.

Joshua has longstanding relationships with hundreds of top-producing factories, government agencies, state-run trading companies, and export licensing and inspection bureaus. His influential contacts in the Chinese trading community have enabled Décor Trends to build one of the most comprehensive portfolios of quality, candle-safe glass jars and votive holders available.
